Adults Helmet Sizing (General Guide)Updated 2 months ago
Your helmet is the most important piece of safety gear you will wear while riding. Making sure it fits correctly is essential for both comfort and protection.
Helmets are typically sized XS–2XL, with each size covering a small range of head circumferences in centimetres (cm).
Follow these steps:
Use a cloth tape measure.
Wrap it around your head horizontally.
Measure about 1 inch (2–3 cm) above your eyebrows and ears.
Record the circumference of your head in centimetres.
| Size | Head Measurement |
|---|---|
| XS | 53–54 cm |
| S | 55–56 cm |
| M | 57–58 cm |
| L | 59–60 cm |
| XL | 61–62 cm |
| 2XL | 63–64 cm |
Keep in mind that helmet shapes vary between brands, and everyone’s head shape is slightly different.
If possible, try on multiple brands until you find the one that fits your head shape best the better the fit, the safer and more comfortable your ride will be.
